KUHN Knight RC 300 Series Reel Commercial mixers provide superior durability and performance with innovative options that separate them from the competition. Available in trailer, truck and stationary models, these mixers feature enhanced durability and operator-friendly upgrades that boost efficiency, reduce maintenance and improve control helping operations save time, minimize wear and maximize productivity. For dairy and beef producers mixing rations with high percentages of roughages or distillers grains, this design gives them the ability to efficiently handle a wide range of materials.

The RC 300 Series delivers smooth, consistent mixing thanks to its patented Helix® Reel, the only open-center reel on the market that allows unobstructed feed flow. Twisted reel arms further enhance this design, providing smooth running performance without load spikes. Working in tandem, the efficient reel and auger system reduces power draw, lowering operating costs, saving fuel and minimizing tractor horsepower requirements while still maintaining superior mixing performance. To meet diverse operational needs, KUHN offers trailer, truck and stationary models, each customizable with augers and liners to ensure optimal performance across applications. Truck-mounted versions are available with mechanical or hydrostatic drives, offering operators straightforward functionality alongside advanced features that enhance overall efficiency and ease of use.

Superior Feed Movement
  • The reel thoroughly mixes rations gently without causing excessive damage to the feed ingredients, preserving precious nutritional value for your herd. The large reel gently tumbles material for vertical feed movement and helps feed move up into the side augers. The upper auger moves material rearward, while the lower auger moves material forward for end-to-end mixing. The lower auger also keeps the door continuously charged during feedout.
